Integrations

Works with the tools you already use.

Connect your calendar, email and messaging in a couple of clicks. Aster reads availability, creates meeting links, and sends messages where your candidates are.

Google & Microsoft Meet & Teams WhatsApp Business

Google & Microsoft calendars

Connect one workspace calendar and Aster reads availability and creates events for every interview.

Meet & Teams links

Video links are generated automatically for each interview and shared with the whole panel.

WhatsApp Business

Send interview confirmations and reminders over WhatsApp, where candidates actually reply.

Job boards & apply links

Post roles to LinkedIn, JobStreet and more. Applicants land straight in your pipeline, tagged by source.

A marketplace that keeps growing

Aster covers the core hiring workflow out of the box, with more connections added over time and custom integrations on Enterprise.

  • One-click calendar connection
  • Secure, revocable access
  • Custom integrations for Enterprise teams

Every recruiting team already has a stack: a calendar, an inbox, a messaging app, a handful of job boards. The problem isn't missing tools, it's the seams between them. A candidate replies on WhatsApp and someone has to copy that into the pipeline by hand. An interview gets booked and someone builds the video link manually, then pastes it into three separate calendar invites. None of this is hard on its own, but it adds up: ten minutes here, a missed reply there, and by Friday a recruiter has spent half a day moving information between screens instead of actually hiring.

How it works

From setup to hire

1

Connect your accounts

From workspace settings, sign in with Google or Microsoft once. Aster requests only the calendar and meeting permissions it needs to schedule interviews, nothing more. No plugins to install and no IT ticket for most teams, just an authorization screen and you're connected.

2

Turn on messaging

Add your WhatsApp Business number and email sending details so reminders and updates go out under your own workspace. Candidates get replies and confirmations in the channel they actually check, and every message thread stays attached to their candidate profile automatically.

3

Publish and track sources

Post roles to your career site and to boards like LinkedIn and JobStreet using source-tagged apply links. Every application that comes back is automatically credited to the board it came from, so funnel and source performance reports stay accurate without manual tagging.

4

Schedule without the back-and-forth

Once connected, self-scheduling and interview booking generate a Meet or Teams link automatically and drop it into the right calendar for the candidate and every interviewer, with reminders sent by email or WhatsApp so nobody has to chase confirmations.

In depth

A closer look

Interview scheduling is usually the slowest part of a hiring process, not because anyone is slow, but because it requires everyone's calendar to line up at once. Aster connects directly to Google and Microsoft Workspace calendars, so when a candidate self-schedules or a recruiter books a slot, it checks real availability instead of guessing. The moment a time is confirmed, Aster creates the Google Meet or Microsoft Teams link itself and places it on every relevant calendar automatically: the candidate's, the hiring manager's and each interviewer's.

Nobody has to open a video tool, copy a link, or reconcile three different invites. If a slot gets rescheduled, the calendar event and the link update together, so there's never a mismatch between what's on someone's calendar and what's actually happening. For teams running dozens of interviews a week, this is the difference between a scheduling coordinator's full-time job and a process that mostly runs itself.

In practice

Where it makes the difference

A recruiter juggling two calendar systems

A 40-person startup grows through an acquisition and ends up with half the team on Google Workspace and half on Microsoft 365. Interview scheduling used to mean checking two calendar apps by hand before offering a candidate a time. With both connected in Aster, self-scheduling checks real availability across either system, and the Meet or Teams link gets created based on which calendar the interviewer actually uses, so nobody has to translate between the two anymore.

FAQ

Common questions

Which calendars does Aster support?

Aster connects to both Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 calendars, so mixed environments work the same as single-vendor ones. Once connected, Aster reads real availability to power self-scheduling and creates Google Meet or Microsoft Teams links automatically when an interview is booked, then places the event and link on every relevant calendar, the candidate's and each interviewer's. If your organization uses a different calendar system, an Enterprise plan can include custom integration work to connect it.

Do candidates need a WhatsApp Business account to use this?

No. WhatsApp Business is connected on your side, tied to your workspace's own number, so candidates just message and receive replies through the regular WhatsApp app they already have. Reminders, confirmations and updates go out from that number, and every exchange attaches to the candidate's profile automatically, so the conversation is visible to the whole hiring team, not stuck on one recruiter's personal phone.

How does source tracking work with LinkedIn and JobStreet?

When a role is posted, Aster generates a distinct apply link for each board it's published to. Applications that come through that link are automatically tagged with the source, so funnel and source performance analytics reflect where candidates actually came from, no manual tagging required. If the same person applies through more than one board, Aster deduplicates them into a single record and keeps the original source attached.

Can we revoke an integration if someone leaves or an account changes?

Yes. Every integration, calendar, email, WhatsApp, job board, is scoped and can be disconnected in one action from workspace settings. Revoking access takes effect immediately and doesn't affect historical data already recorded on candidate profiles. Every connection and disconnection is logged in the audit trail alongside other workspace activity, so there's a clear record of when access was granted and when it was removed.

What if we use tools outside the standard list?

Enterprise plans include custom integration work scoped to your environment, whether that's an internal HRIS, a regional job board, or a specific single sign-on setup. Enterprise also adds SSO, audit logs and white labeling. Talk to your account team about what you're running, and dedicated support scopes the connection against your actual workflow rather than a generic template, so it fits the way your recruiters already hire.

Does connecting these tools change our data privacy?

No. Integrations don't change how Aster handles data: everything stays encrypted in transit and at rest, scoped to your workspace, and exportable or deletable at any time. Aster never uses your data to train shared models. Connecting a calendar or WhatsApp number only grants the specific access needed for scheduling or messaging, it doesn't open your workspace data to the third-party tool or vice versa.

Your team already has a calendar, an inbox, a messaging app and a couple of job boards it trusts. Aster's job isn't to replace any of them, it's to make the space between them disappear: interviews that book themselves onto the right calendar with a Meet or Teams link attached, replies that land on WhatsApp or email without anyone copying and pasting, applicants from LinkedIn and JobStreet arriving with their source already tagged. Every connection is scoped and revocable, so nothing gets looser as your stack grows, and Enterprise teams can extend it further with custom integrations built around their own systems. Connect the tools you already use, and let the handoffs run themselves.
